Changes to Police Record Checks Effective 1 February 2014
Effective 1 February 2014, the London Police Service will no longer offer the Police Criminal Record Check (PCRC)

Starting February 1, 2014 Police Criminal Record Check (PCRC) applicant will be deferred to the Police Information Check (PIC).
All applicants are required to be a resident of London, Ontario, Canada, regardless of where you are seeking employment and/or a volunteer position.
Applicants may attend the London Police Service Records Screening Unit, Monday to Friday, between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. – closed on holidays.
We are currently
processing Employment record checks within 15 Business Days
and Volunteer record checks within 20 business days.
Please do not call to check on the status as this will delay processing times.
We will call to advise when your record check is ready to be picked up.

responsibility or obligation to make such a determination.
Your completed record check will remain available for 6 months from the date it was completed. Any police record check not picked up by that date will be destroyed. The London Police service will not reprocess these record checks or refund any fees.
