If you are 21 or older and have an established credit history in Canada, you may submit your record check request ON-LINE from the comfort of your home, 24/7, including payment and electronic ID verification.
Completed record checks will be mailed to your home address.

All applicants are required to be a resident of London, Ontario, Canada, regardless of where you are seeking employment and/or a volunteer position.
Applicants may attend the London Police Service Records Screening Unit, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. Ė closed on Wednesdays and holidays.
As of July 21, 2014, the London Police Service record screeners are processing employment and educational placement records checks submitted on or before June 12, 2014. They are processing volunteer record checks submitted on or before June 2, 2014. If you have submitted your record check before these dates, we will call you when your record check is ready to be picked up. Completed record checks are available for pickup at the main lobby reception desk, Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm, on the weekends from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm. If you have submitted your application after these dates, your record check is NOT complete. If you are uncertain of the date you submitted your background check, please refer to the date noted on the receipt issued to you.
A police record check is current as of the date it is completed. It is your
employer/prospective employer or organizationís function to determine if the
record check is current enough to be accepted for the position applied for. The
London Police Services Board, its officers, agents and employees, shall have no
responsibility or obligation to make such a determination.
Your completed record check will remain available for 6 months from the date it was completed. Any police record check not picked up by that date will be destroyed. The London Police service will not reprocess these record checks or refund any fees.
The Police Information Check (PIC) is intended for applicants who are seeking
employment, student placement or volunteering with agencies who require a record
check. This check is also intended for adoption applicants.
This record check is NOT intended for applicants who are seeking volunteer, student placement or employment with vulnerable persons.
